Quick update:
The good news is that cataract surgery on my left eye was pretty much a success . The bad news is that my left eye is so swollen all the time so I can't see out of it. The graft vs host disease causes my cornea to get rough like sand paper. It irritates the inside of my eyelid and can cause sores. My right eye is not the greatest either, but I can see some things out of it. The doctor who did my cataract surgery is phenomenal. She kept trying everything she could think of to help me. I fear that we've tried everything and I need to come to terms with the vision loss. I have an appointment with the Yale eye specialist in July. We'll see ( I won't very well) what she has to say.
